"Unselfish Service to Mankind..."

Being an Alpha Delta Pi means giving back. A chapter of our own personal philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, has a location right around the corner from our house which means we are able to give our time as well as our fundraising efforts. Whether it be volunteer exchanges with fraternities, fundraiser feeds at our chapter house or craft nights at the RMHC, we at Alpha Delta Pi love to give back.

Of course it is always fun to participate in other philanthropies as well! For the RMHC as well as other organizations, we have raised over $27,000 and given countless hours in the past year alone.

Not only does Alpha Delta Pi host our own philanthropy events, but we also love participating in other Greek houses’ philanthropies! We believe it is important to support all Greek chapters and their philanthropic endeavors throughout the University of Washington community. Our sisters are involved in many different charity organizations within the University of Washington, including the UW Dream Project and Big Brothers Big Sisters UW. Our chapter also participates in Relay for Life at UW, Seattle's Hot Chocolate Run, and UW Delta Tau Delta's Miss Greek Pageant every year!

Our chapter members spent over 1200 hours volunteering outside of ADPi in Fall Quarter of 2018!

What's the biggest philanthropic event of the year? Our annual Golf Tournament of course! For the past five years, Alpha Delta Pi has worked hard to establish our new tradition of hosting the Lion's Share Challenge Golf Tournament. Members of the Greek, UW, and Seattle communities participate in the tournament and a silent auction. Proceeds from the event are then donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska.

This past spring we held our chapter's fraternity philanthropy competition, The Gentleman's Challenge, which is a croquet tournament! We were so thrilled to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities while having fun with other organizations on campus. Read more about what we did here!
